Pratap Public School, a chain of high end, futuristic institutions is run and managed by Rai Sahib Ch. Pratap Singh Charitable Trust Society.. The Trust , registered in June 1964 , established its first school at Jarnailly Colony, Karnal in 1975. Slowly but steadily, the school made phenomenal progress. In 1985, the school was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education for instruction upto X grade and it was upgraded to the Senior Secondary Level (10+2) in 1989.

Once the school was firmly established, a second school was setup at sector – 6 for imparting education from Nursery to Senior Secondary Level (10+2) in 1992. Fulfilling the commitment of taking quality education to rural areas, the Trust opened a school at Jundla in the year 2009, and yet another one on the outskirts of Panipat in April 2013. Both schools have been affiliated to CBSE for instruction upto Senior Secondary Level.

Pratap Public School is committed to imparting high quality education in a child friendly atmosphere, through innovative methods and activity oriented curriculum. Besides preparing the students to excel in Board Examinations, the school lays considerable emphasis on their holistic development through co-curricular activities. Training in computer science, sports and life skills occupies a prominent place in the school’s numerous activities. Within the campus, facilities have been provided for athletics, table tennis, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton and a host of cultural activities.

Started with only 80 students, the school today has a strength of over 8000 students studying across the various branches.
